Background

We are truly enthusiastic about the great wines of the world. They succeed in fascinating us time and time again. Next to the diversity in flavours offered, it is the character of each wine which makes it unique. Wine is one of the wonders of nature expressing a unique combination of climate, soil and human craftsmanship.

In our opinion, after great and the good, things rapidly become faceless in the wine world. There are far too many wines which are merely technically defined. These wines, at their best, do exhibit pleasant aromas, but that is far too little.

Wine should testify to the good that man can create together with nature. In its essence, wine should be capable of making a cultural statement. We take it as our own personal challenge to make this experience possible for wine lovers. We like to call our wines “cultural wine experiences for everyday” and both our names should stand for this.
